These stuffed strawberries are fun desserts for kids and can also make a great dessert for dinner parties. I recommend to buy the organic ones from sainsburys as they are really sweet and tasty.
1. With nutella
This is very easy to make. All you need are strawberries, a jar of nutella, a small scoop and a disposible pastry decorating bag.
After you have washed the strawberries, take your small scoop and scoop out the stems. Once this is complete, spoon some nutella into the pastry bag and cut a small hole in one of the corners. Squeeze the nutella towards the hole and fill the strawberries, you're done!
2. With Mascarpone and Grand Marnier
160gr mascarpone, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of grand marnier, 12 strawberries,
Mix the mascarpone with sugar and Grand Marnier. Reserve in the fridge until needed
Wash the strawberries and scoop out the stems. Spoon the mascarpone into a piping bag and fill your strawberries.
You can then dip them in chocolate or sprinkle grated chocolate.
If making if for kids, substitute the grand marnier for vanilla extract
3. With Cream cheese
Any cheesecake fans? You're gonna love this
Simply mix 200 gr of cream cheese with 50 gr of icing sugar and 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Wash the strawberries and scoop out the stems and fill with the cream cheese. You can then add some melted chocolate or sprinkle some biscuit crumbs.
I'm hungry after this post!
